VerifiedWonderful 42nd Anniversary Stay 🥂 My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful well kept Inn. Our room was spotless and very comfortable & nicely furnished. Breakfasts were delicious & Happy Hour was very relaxing out on the wrap around porch. The location was great and within walking distance to great restaurants & downtown shops and attractions. Charles and Rebecca were very accommodating and GREAT HOSTS!

Blue Heron Inn is a quaint inn, with a lovely breakfast on front porch complete with rocking chairs, interesting antiques and iron beds, wine and beverages at days end and a great location in historic Ferdinandina Beach. We did not use the pool that needed to be cleaned; the island beaches are beautiful and the focus of our trip! Charles and Rebecca are attentive new hosts!

VerifiedRebecca and Charlie Made Our Stay Memorable Rebecca and Charlie were so welcoming and attentive the whole stay. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable as was the entire property. The breakfasts, cooked by Rebecca were off the charts good. And, the other people that we met there were great. The location is very close to shopping and good restaurants; we walked everywhere except to the fort at the inlet.

VerifiedWonderful getaway! Beautiful house! Very clean. The bed in the Heron room was very comfortable. Shower water pressure was excellent! (My only caution to older people or people with issues stepping over a high tub side is that the Heron room requires you to be nimble to get in and out!) The Inn is walking distance to the little downtown area, restaurants, and shops! The owners are very sweet and helpful!

The location is great, right in the heart of the historic area. Rebecca and Charles were perfect hosts and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Rebecca‘s “things to do” and restaurant recommendations were excellent. She is an amazing cook and served a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning. The pool in a lovely garden area is an added bonus. I will definitely return!

VerifiedAmazing bed and breakfast Amelia island Fl Recently took my wife to stay at the blue heron inn @ameila island . My wife and I were welcomed late Friday afternoon by the family that owns / runs the inn. They were warm , welcoming and friendly. They even kept their children up late so they could greet us and show us around / give us the key to our room , after that they gave us great recommendations for local spots to eat and drink at . Our room was spacious and had its own bathroom that overlooked the back yard . The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of bedding. The bathroom and shower were nice and came with plenty of towels , soaps , etc. On both of our mornings one of the owners made us a delicious two course breakfast , and waited on us hand and foot with food and drinks. I would recommend anyone to stay at the blue heron inn , it’s was the perfect weekend get away for my wife and I , and I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay for the weekend.

The Blue Heron Inn is a fantastic B&B with the perfect location on Amelia Island. This historic home is meticulously maintained and beautiful, we were comfortable from the moment we arrived until we left! Charles and Rebecca are the nicest of hosts who communicate very well and are more than accommodating for all of your needs. The rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Anytime we come back to the island there’s no doubt where we’ll be staying. Thank you Charles and Rebecca for a beautiful stay!
